From Dvina to Dvina. That was motto of one of the most crazyest Greater Finland ideas ever.
In the late 19th century some Finns had idea to unite all Finnic people. First idea inclued only East Karelia and Kola Peninsula but later also Estonia and Ingria became part of it. During the World War II some of them wanted to create even bigger Finnish Nation: they drawed Finnish borders to start from Gulf of Riga and end to the White Sea with using Western and Northern Dvina rivers as a borders.
And many of those nationalists dreamed to create Finnish vassal state for Komi people. In that way Finland would get all those natural resources.
Unfortunately it allmost allways goes too far when its acted upon and depending on the type of nationalism another countrie, race, religion eg losses out.
